Fixing What’s Broken.

The West Village. Union Square. Greenwich Village. SoHo. NoHo. Tribeca. The East Village.

These are neighborhoods people chose for a reason — clean streets, safe blocks, small businesses, and a sense that things worked.

That’s changing.

Everyday quality of life is slipping — and people feel it.

  • Streets are more chaotic.

  • E-bikes and traffic feel out of control.

  • Noise is constant.

  • Trash piles up.

  • Basic upkeep isn’t getting done.

It’s becoming harder to feel safe. Harder to get around. Harder to enjoy where you live.

At the same time, small businesses are struggling to stay open, and longtime residents are being pushed out by rising costs.

And while government feels more present than ever, it’s not delivering where it matters.

More rules. More confusion. Less accountability.
And not enough results people can actually see.

New Yorkers aren’t asking for everything.

They’re asking for a city that works.

Corinne Arnold is running to restore quality of life and keep New Yorkers in their homes. Through practical, balanced solutions, through Corinne’s leadership, we will make New York livable again.

Our Issues

  • Housing is the defining challenge facing our community.

Renters are navigating historically low vacancy rates, rising rents, and intense competition for limited apartments. At the same time, co-op and condo owners face escalating taxes, insurance costs, and regulatory burdens that are pricing longtime residents out of their homes.

As president of a major cooperative building, Corinne has firsthand experience managing these challenges and understanding how policy decisions affect both renters and homeowners.

Her housing agenda focuses on practical solutions:

    • Bringing vacant apartments back online through targeted incentives

    • Supporting balanced policies that support homeowners and renters

    • Establishing a state-level advisory committee focused on co-op and condo challenges

    • Prioritizing rehabilitation of existing housing — the fastest and most sustainable way to increase supply

Stable housing strengthens families, protects neighborhoods, and supports local businesses.

  • For too long, co-ops, condos, and small homeowners have been ignored in state housing policy.

Corinne will make sure they finally have a real voice in Albany.

She will reduce the rising costs impacting homeowners and tenants alike, and address burdensome regulations that lack state funding to reach their goals. Point blank, she will ensure state policies don’t unintentionally push homeowners out due to increased maintenance and housing expenses.

Corinne understands that New York is home to working families, seniors, and long-term residents — and protecting them is key to keeping our neighborhoods stable.

  • Safe, clean, and well-run neighborhoods should be the standard — not the exception.

Right now, too many New Yorkers feel like that standard is slipping.

Corinne will fix what isn’t working — ensuring accountability while maintaining fairness, and making sure these programs have the resources needed to actually deliver results.

She will address the growing impact of untreated mental health challenges and substance use by pushing for stronger services, better coordination, and solutions that improve both safety and long-term stability.

Corinne also believes we must do more to support victims — making sure they are heard, protected, and never left behind in the system.

She will put clear, enforceable rules in place for e-bikes — in language drivers understand — and hold app companies accountable for unrealistic demands that impact safety. Our streets and sidewalks must work for everyone: pedestrians, riders, and drivers.

Her approach is simple and practical: focus on what works, fix what doesn’t, and restore a sense of order people can feel in their daily lives.

  • If you built your life here, you deserve to stay here.

Corinne will make aging in place a priority in Albany.

She will strengthen and expand programs like STAR, SCRIE, and DRIE. She will simplify access to benefits, and ensure more seniors can stay in their homes despite rising costs.

Corinne will also invest in services that help older adults and those with disabilities live independently, stay connected, and maintain stability in their communities.

Aging in place should be a guarantee, not a privilege.

  • Every child deserves access to opportunity.

Corinne will expand access to specialized high schools and strengthen the pipeline for students preparing for the SHSAT by investing in earlier academic support and increasing access to advanced learning opportunities.

She will push to expand neighborhood capacity where demand far exceeds available seats, and explore creating additional schools to reduce long commutes for students.

    Corinne is focused on

    • Expanding opportunity, ensuring every student has a fair shot

    • Strengthening financial literacy education

    • Making sure teachers are supported and fairly compensated.
